This Monday afternoon, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, approved the Regulations against Sexual Abuse of Children and Adolescents as part of a strategic meeting on demands against the Venezuelan women's sector.

“Can there be anything more cruel or perverse than that? It is a call for the Venezuelan family and society, that we act as a united family because there are spaces to do so and define a common path,” said the Head of State.

He specified that “today we have signed four agreements that were born from the different visions of you (women), your efforts but that lead us to a common path. These regulations must be the result of a Venezuela that seeks a spiritual rebirth and that political contradictions are resolved where they have to be resolved, in the democratic spaces that the Constitution has designed for this purpose.”

He stated that “I hope that this Venezuela, which has spent more than a decade of blockade, hardship and spiritual blockade, acts as a single Venezuela and bears its name to the top. Enough of stigmatizing Venezuelan people! We have to be united!”

President Delcy Rodríguez urged Venezuelan women to rise up as one country. “We have a lot to do women!” , he ruled.
