The Venezuelan economy reached a historic level when it registered the lowest monthly inflation in the last 24 months in October 2026, as reported by President Delcy Rodríguez.
The official figure was presented during the closing of the Congress “Building Opportunities”, organized by the Venezuelan Confederation of Industrialists (Conindustria).
This behavior responds to the joint effort of the Venezuelan people and the national productive apparatus, which reflected a 23% increase in consumption capacity over the last year, accompanied by a greater volume of production and a greater use of installed capacities.
“October inflation closed at the lowest in 24 months. It is an effort of everyone, of the Venezuelan people, who have improved their consumption capacity with an increase of 23% in the last 12 months, but also in productive capacities: you have more volume of production and greater use of your installed capacities. This growth, both in production and consumption, shows positive numbers in terms of inflation,” said the head of state.
The economic trajectory of the last seven years responds to continuous progress in the various productive sectors, even under the restrictions imposed by sanctions and the economic blockade.
During her speech, the president emphasized the beginning of a process of reversing these difficulties and stated: “We have traveled a difficult path together. As the president of Conindustria said, we have experienced seven years of growth, but of a lot of effort, in an environment where the Venezuelan productive sectors have been limited by the complex of sanctions and the economic blockade; today we are beginning to reverse that situation.”
Given these favorable projections for the end of the year, the National Executive extended an invitation to the international community to join the economic recovery and the post-earthquake reconstruction plan, with a view to maintaining social stability and the path of growth.
