President Delcy Rodríguez participates in the Eighth Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum

Through a video message from the city of Caracas, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, participates in the Eighth Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries (GECF).

During his speech, he expressed his gratitude to the Russian Federation for organizing the event and highlighted the strategic value of this space of sovereign cooperation, which brings together 71% of the planet's proven natural gas reserves.

It also reaffirms the role of natural gas as a key resource for economic growth, sustainable development and energy transition.

Finally, Venezuela joins this initiative by joining efforts to strengthen the energy sector, backed by a new Organic Hydrocarbons Law that provides contractual stability, transparent investment schemes and a framework of trust for the development of strategic projects of international scope.
