The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led this Friday the delivery of 564 new homes in Caracas and other states of the country, for families affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

“We are delivering 564 homes in different states of the country (...) Venezuelan brothers and sisters who lost their homes in La Guaira and well, today they are already receiving a house,” said the president from the urban planning firm Ciudad Tiuna, in Caracas.

The president explained that 92 apartments were awarded in this urban development, and the others were delivered in the states of Miranda, Falcón and Táchira. “A deployment to keep our word, to fulfill what we said,” he emphasized.

It should be noted that the delivery of housing has been a constant and real event on the part of the Venezuelan State, which has managed to dignify more than 5 million families across the country. However, following the double earthquake, the delivery of decent housing solutions has accelerated.
