The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, ratified comprehensive care for women during the inauguration of the Comprehensive Center for Women at the Dr. Carlos Arvelo Military Hospital, a space designed to offer specialized services.
In her speech, the president stressed that all efforts of the State and communities are aimed at ensuring the well-being of the female sector.
“All the efforts of the Venezuelan State, of our communities and organizations, are aimed at a woman free from violence because we know what a victim can feel. They are not alone, they have someone to listen to them, to accompany them and, above all, to protect them,” she said.
In that regard, the head of state referred to this year's awareness campaigns. “We are in the month of Rosa breast cancer prevention and we are going to receive Sunday not only Christmas in Venezuela but also the violet month and the violet month is the life of Venezuelan women free of violence,” she said.
Finally, Rodríguez sent a message of recognition to the citizens who live in the country. “A big hug to Venezuelan women, women girls, women who are at the forefront of the resistance and victory of our country,” concluded the president, congratulating everyone present during the inauguration of the healthcare center.
