The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, celebrated, through her Telegram channel, the beginning of Christmas, “a time that invites us to meet again”.
“We turned on the lights of Paseo Los Próceres and the Cruz del Warairarepano, in Caracas, to begin an era that invites us to meet again. It has been a year of painful moments and absences, but also of strength and hope,” he said.
He also expressed his wish that this “Christmas will give us the opportunity to heal wounds, shorten distances and be with those we love so much. Because the most beautiful light this Christmas will always be that of a hug between Venezuelans!”
