PORTUGUESE - PÁEZ/Delcy Rodríguez: Today the People of Venezuela are a People with political power

The Executive Vice President of the Republic and member of the Our Venezuela Campaign Command, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted the legacy of the Liberators of the Homeland, as well as of Commander Hugo Chávez, who will be defended next July 28 in the presidential elections.

“We are heroic and we are heroes too, that's why we say that we have to be organized between now and July 28 house by house, radio Bemba, at work, the peasants, the peasants, the fishermen, the workers, the workers, all the people national union to defend the most beautiful thing we have: our homeland,” Rodríguez said from the Portuguese state.

During a massive mobilization in support of President Nicolás Maduro, he recalled that Commander Hugo Chávez, in 1998, “told the humblest in this country 'you exist, you are a people and the people must be empowered'. Today the people of Venezuela are a people with political power, who do not believe the patarucos, who do not create that caste, who can take political power away from Venezuelans,” he emphasized.
