This Sunday, Pope Francis, through his X account, urged the international community to “act urgently, with all means, to help the population of Gaza”, after eight months of military siege by the Israeli occupiers, who have already left more than 37,000 Palestinians murdered.

“Humanitarian aid must be allowed to reach those who need it, and no one can prevent it,” wrote the Vatican's highest authority, referring to the obstacles posed by the Zionist entity to bring food, water, medicines and other basic products to millions of civilians in Gaza.

He also urged peace to be achieved in the besieged territory. “To make peace you need courage, much more courage than to wage war.”
