Joint commissions of Poliguacara and the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps (CICPC) neutralized Miguel Alejandro Rojas, designated as the leader of the Structured Organized Crime Group (GEDO) El Quiquibaba.

According to the publication of Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the information was released by the mayor of Guacara, Johan Castañeda, through social networks, who indicated that thanks to the intelligence of the civic, police and military union, a subject with a high police record was neutralized.

In addition, it was detailed that Rojas was being investigated by the Venezuelan justice system for being the ringleader of that criminal gang and is attributed to him the following crimes: for alleged participation as a motorcycle driver in the murder of the official of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) at the gas station in Morón, theft of a motorcycle, or participation in the double homicide of a couple in the Valles de Yagua sector, among others.

“The mayor added that they are on the trail of the rest of the members of this gang dedicated to motorcycle theft and other crimes. He also pointed out that they maintain a constant deployment throughout the municipality to guarantee the peace of the locals and good living together,” VTV reported.
