Police forces from five states were equipped with patrols and motorcycles

Public Security Forces from the states of Apure, Guárico, Portuguesa, Sucre and Táchira were equipped with 100 patrols and 300 motorcycles.

The vehicles were delivered by the Sectorial Vice President for Public Security and Peace, A/J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, who noted that of these 12 patrols and 60 motorcycles were delivered to Sucre, to complement the work of protecting citizens carried out in the 99 Peace Quadrants of this entity.

“We continue to make progress to strengthen the Great Quadrants of Peace Mission, a great public policy of citizen security like no other country in the entire world, since we are committed to the direct fight against crime,” said Ceballos.

In addition, according to a press release from the Interior and Justice Department, Ceballos Ichaso, stressed that a day of work has been carried out on police strategy and tactics, in order to improve protection and service for the benefit of the people.

“We have achieved excellent results because, through this plan, crime rates have fallen in Sucre state,” said the Chief Admiral.
