PNB seized 52.16 kg of marijuana in Delta Amacuro and Lara

Officials from the Bolivarian National Police Force (CPNB) seized a total of 52.16 kilograms of suspected marijuana and arrested two people, in Delta Amacuro and Lara states.
According to a publication published by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), during strategic patrolling work on National Highway 15, at the height of the El Cierre road, in the Tucupita municipality, in the Mariscal Antonio José de Sucre parish, officials apprehended a 50-year-old citizen, after seizing 50 panel-type wrappers with a total gross weight of 52.06 kilograms of alleged marijuana.
Simultaneously, in Lara state, officials from the Strategic Intelligence Division carried out saturation and containment tasks in the Iribarren municipality, Unión parish, San Jacinto sector (race 2 between streets 3 and 4), managing to capture a citizen for the alleged crime of selling and distributing illegal substances.
Officials seized a synthetic wrapper weighing approximately 106.59 grams of suspected marijuana from the citizen.
Both arrested citizens and the elements of criminal interest were brought to the order of the Public Ministry (MP) to initiate due process of law and continue with the corresponding investigations under the regulations of the Organic Drug Law.
