The Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) officially launched its 2026-2027 season at an enthusiastic event held at the Hard Rock Café in Caracas.
The presentation was attended by Giuseppe Palmisano, president of the LVBP; Franklin Cardillo, Minister of Popular Power for Sports; and Sergio Lotartaro, Minister of Popular Power for Youth.
This 2026-2027 season will be especially significant, as it will be held as a well-deserved tribute to our national team after its historic conquest in the World Baseball Classic.
The league pays tribute to the heroes who took the name of Venezuela to the top of the World Cup, as well as in solidarity with the families affected by the double earthquake of last June 24.
The action officially kicks off this Monday, October 12. The opening match promises strong emotions with the confrontation between Tiburones de La Guaira and Navegantes del Magallanes, a classic that will take place in the city of Valencia
