Brigadiers from the Cayapa Heroica National Plan carried out a day of repair and recovery of various medical equipment at the Regional Laboratory of the state of Lara, located in the municipality of Iribarren.

During the day, specialists in electronics, IT and electromedicine succeeded in reactivating eight vital devices, including three microscopes, a rotator agitator, two centrifuges, a stove/agitator and a water bath.

This initiative, according to a note from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), is part of strategic actions to strengthen the public health system through the recovery of equipment in medical institutions.

The Cayapa Heroica technicians, committed to social protection, worked in a coordinated manner to ensure the operability of these instruments, essential for diagnosis and clinical analysis.

The intervention reflects the collective effort of professionals and technical brigades who, since 2018, have repaired more than 6,600 medical and technological equipment nationwide, according to updated data from January 2025.

In Lara, this type of approach has been replicated in other outpatient clinics and health centers, highlighting the synergy between the scientific sector and communities to improve healthcare.
