A technical delegation from the Russian-Venezuelan joint venture
Petromiranda made a working visit to the headquarters of the partner company in
Tatarstan, Russia, where the progress of the data reprocessing project was evaluated using vertical seismic profiles.
Managers specialized in geosciences, petrophysics,
geodesy and heavy oil from PDVSA traveled to Russia to learn
first-hand about the allied company's technologies, experience and state-of-the-art equipment.
The joint work between Petromiranda, PDVSA in Moscow and the Venezuelan
Embassy in Russia demonstrates the unwavering commitment to the
development of the national energy sector and the strengthening of international
alliances to consolidate energy sovereignty.
Seismic Data has played an important role in the exploration, production and improvement of hydrocarbons over the past few decades.
Its volume and complexity have grown exponentially, giving rise to the
need to organize and validate it properly, in order to be able to locate and access it in a timely manner.
The joint venture PDVSA Petromiranda, S.A., is attached to the Venezuelan Petroleum Corporation, S.A.
