The Peruvian Public Prosecutor's Office filed a constitutional complaint against the president-designate Dina Boluarte as responsible for the alleged crime of improper and passive bribery against her public functions at the head of the State, after the president wore luxury watches and other jewelry that she never declared for months.

The Public Ministry explained, in a statement, that while carrying out his public work, Boluarte exhibited “three watches of the Rolex brand, a pair of gold ring earrings with diamonds and a Bangle bracelet with 94 diamonds” that, supposedly, were donated by the governor of Ayacucho (south), Wilfredo Oscorima Núñez.

In this regard, the Public Prosecutor's Office assures that the official handed them over to Boluarte on visits after which she issued emergency and supreme decrees that benefited that province, for which reason she would have acted maliciously in receiving these objects as donations, which would point to a bribe.
