The
Miranda Community Performing Arts Festival 2024 began several training workshops aimed at community cultural
work teams with the objective of strengthening the
development of the presentations and artistic capacities of the Mirandinos,
as announced by the Secretary of Culture of the entity's government, Gabriela Simoza.
According to information from Venezolana de
Televisión (VTV), she explained that teaching days allow artists, cultural
groups, group directors and the Popular Power to acquire
techniques, strategies and methodologies in the basic principles of community production.
“Last week, nearly
40 community producers were trained and this week, the workshops will continue to be
held in other communities by great figures in the performing arts
and cinema,” he added.
He explained that during the month of October there
will be training sessions in dramaturgy, production,
scenography, the use of reusable material for costumes, among other skills.
“The Performing Arts Festival is comprehensive, not only does it focus on the presentation of artistic exhibitions, but we also create spaces to accompany and train participants during the production of the event in the months leading up to the grid to be held in the month of November,” he said.
