People's Power Commission proposes to commemorate 10th anniversary of Misión Jóvenes del Barrio

The Permanent Commission on Popular Power and Communication
proposes to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Neighborhood Youth Mission, a policy of
the Bolivarian Government that promotes, accompanies and funds processes of
organization, training, employment and productive initiatives of young people
in situations of vulnerability in urban and rural popular sectors, to guarantee their social inclusion.
During the committee
meeting, the president of the instance, deputy Juan Carlos
Alemán (PSUV/Dtto. Capital), reported that they will submit a proposal for an agreement to
the Board of Directors of the National Assembly (AN), on the occasion of the anniversary of the Neighborhood Youth
Mission, for approval in the Full House.
He also indicated that they will propose two other agreements. One for the 35 years of the popular
insurgency against neoliberalism, “El Caracazo”; and another
for the 5th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of the Bridges.
On the other hand, he commented that the International University of Communications
(UICOM) granted the commission a right to speak to present a management
balance sheet for 2023. He stressed that the house of study
has been doing important work in two years of management in the international arena.
It also reported that the laws and the Legislative Agenda 2024
presented by the president of the AN, deputy Jorge Rodríguez (PSUV/Dtto), were revised.
