This Saturday, the first vice-president of the National Assembly (AN), Pedro Infante, stated that the Legislative Branch already has 90% of the inventory of assets linked to the theft of CITGO Petroleum Corporation.

During an interview on the program “A Pulso” broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Infante announced that the legal process over the theft of the subsidiary of Petrleos de Venezuela Sociedad Anónima (PDVSA) will move forward with the application of the Domain Extinction Act to recover assets.

Infante said that the responsibility of those who participated in the theft of assets is being documented, including members of Juan Guaidó's usurping boards, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) that were funded by the Simon Bolivar Foundation of CITGO and other actors involved.

The Law on Extinction of Dominion is made up of 46 articles and aims to strengthen the fight against corruption to ensure transparency in the management of public assets, giving useful use to resources seized to favor the Venezuelan population.
