The first vice-president of the National Assembly, Deputy Pedro Infante, denounced the implementation of a plan to use the world's parliaments, dominated by the extreme right, to attack Venezuela.
“We are witnessing the instrumentalization of the use of parliaments controlled by the extreme right to attack the Bolivarian Revolution and the legitimate Government of Nicolás Maduro Moros,” Infante said during the extraordinary session of the National Assembly convened for this Thursday.
He also repudiated that European governments are trying to recognize the Venezuelan will, which was expressed in the election of last July 28, while affirming that the European Union is complicit in the plan devised by the extreme right to sing fraud in the above-mentioned elections.
“You are complicit in the international and national plot to try to overthrow President Nicolás Maduro. They condemn that the CNE did not invite the EU as international observers, we were right, they are conspirators and they were clear about the plan to arm electoral fraud. But they will never come to any elections in Venezuela,” Infante emphasized.
In the same way, the parliamentarian assured that the European Parliament cannot demand anything from Venezuela because they lack the moral to do so. “You in your midst are home to 6 monarchies, you cannot come and give us lessons in democracy,” he stressed.
He also highlighted that the recent resolution of the European Parliament recognizing the former candidate of the extreme right, Edmundo González, violates everything established in international law.
