As part of contingency deployments to consolidate essential public services on the central coast, Petrleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA) managed to re-establish operations and incorporate four service stations in the state of La Guaira. With this addition, a total of eight fuel stations are currently active and providing regular commercial service in the entity, ensuring safe supply to users in the region.
The vice-president of National Trade and Supply of the state oil company, Juan Carlos Díaz, stressed that this progress is the direct result of the execution of the plan for the inspection and evaluation of energy infrastructures. This technical program has made it possible to thoroughly audit the safety conditions and structural stability of fuel distribution centers following the recent seismological events of last June 24.
The sectoral authority also reported that the Catia La Mar Distribution Plant operates normally, serving as a fundamental strategic node for timely dispatch to the different coastal sectors. This regular flow has been consolidated thanks to corrective maintenance work and the progressive work carried out by technical crews to completely remove the operational effects detected at the points of direct attention to the public.
Technical teams and energy authorities concluded by ratifying the national government's commitment to maintaining continuous monitoring of the entire hydrocarbon value chain.
They also specified that the coordinated priority channel for land transport has been key to maintaining stable inventories and speeding up the delivery of essential supplies, strengthening peace of mind and the normal development of citizen and commercial activities in the entity.
