Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), participated in the “Energy Day” Forum, which was held in Russia, whose delegation was led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Federation, Alexander Novak.

Through his account on the social network X, the state oil company, he specified that in this space the importance of cooperation with strategic partners for the revival of the industry was reaffirmed.

In addition, in another message, he reported that, following instructions from the Minister of People's Power for Petroleum and president of PDVSA, Pedro Rafael Tellechea, “our subsidiary signed a contract with the Russian company ROSTEC to strengthen the protection and firefighting equipment of the Venezuelan oil industry.”

“PDVSA and ROSTEC deepened their cooperation as a result of the XVII Meeting of the Venezuela-Russia High-Level Intergovernmental Commission (CIAN), to strengthen joint work on industrial safety and technical support,” he said.

ROSTEC is a Russian company that promotes the production, development and export of industrial products, such as high-tech machinery for the civil and defense sectors, in addition to being a multidisciplinary company.

The alliance between PDVSA and ROSTEC was established within the framework of the Venezuela-Russia High-Level Intergovernmental Commission on industrial security, with the support of the diplomatic mission of the Venezuelan embassy in Russia.
