PC in Sucre alert to the arrival of hurricane Beryl

Civil Protection and Disaster Management officials from the state of Sucre (PC) are on alert and monitoring high-risk areas, in the face of the arrival of Hurricane Beryl on the Venezuelan coast.
In a press release, the director of PC Cumaná, Luis Villalba, reported that the category four meteorological phenomenon would be affecting, in the afternoon of this Monday, July 1st, the state of Sucrense and other coastal regions of the country.
“This triggers our alerts. We have kept monitoring this natural phenomenon. We have people deployed in all areas vulnerable to flooding and flooding, ensuring that conditions there are optimal for the heavy downpours that are likely to hit our region,” he said.
From the climate monitoring room of the preventive institution, the official urged the population to remain calm and to take forecasts in the face of the intense rains and strong winds that are estimated to hit the town, due to the passage of this meteorological phenomenon.
