Participants of the Congress of the Historical Bloc present proposals in security and defense

During the working groups organized as part of the Great Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Bloc , the topic of Citizen Security and Defense was addressed , part of the debate surrounding the Plan of the Seven Transformations (Q7).

The representatives of each participating state and presented their proposals to continue to guarantee peace throughout the national territory.

José Torres, delegate of the state of Falcón, in statements for Venezolana de Televisión, explained that the working group of His Citizen Security and Defense seeks to collect proposals to strengthen the citizen security system together with popular power.

“These proposals allow us to decisively measure and confront, in a civic and military union, the enemy that peoples who have decided to be free have today, which is none other than fascism,” he said.

For her part, Ana Jiménez, representative of the state of Lara, who are meeting working for national security, for our security in all areas. “In our communal circuits, women are doing the work of justices of the peace,” she added.

“Popular and communal intelligence goes beyond everything, it defines each territory, each space. These working groups are not only held in the capital, but they are also held in communities across the country to ensure the strengthening of city security,” he said.

Meanwhile, indigenous representatives thanked President Nicolás Maduro for the opportunity to be heard and to participate in the Congress. “We also brought security proposals according to our culture.”
