The authorities of the transport sector informed citizens that this Saturday, October 31, the partial closure of the Boquerón I Tunnel, located on the Caracas - La Guaira highway, will take place, due to the execution of exhaustive inspection tasks on the road structure.
The preventive measure will continue to be applied simultaneously in both directions of the road artery, with the purpose of carrying out technical evaluations and operational interventions to diagnose the general condition of the infrastructure and ensure its proper functioning.
In addition, the prevention and transport teams called on drivers and users who travel between the capital and the Guairian coast to take the corresponding forecasts for vehicle mobility, as well as to respect the signs installed in the area.
The agency ratified its institutional commitment to the comprehensive maintenance and security of the country's strategic highway and tunnel system, guaranteeing roads in optimal conditions for the population's passability.
