This Saturday, July 27, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, handed over the completely rehabilitated United Nations Park Sports Complex, which stressed that with this rehabilitation “we arrived at the construction site 700 works for the 70 years of (Hugo) Chávez”.

During the working day, he stressed that he had set himself the goal of doing 70 works for Chávez: “We have done a lot with nothing and what is coming is better, now that we are recovering considerably. We had the goal of delivering 70 works for Chávez's birthday and with this work that we are going to deliver we met and surpassed the goal,” he said.

“The Bolivarian Government will always work for the benefit of the people, education, sports and health. We must work for that,” he said.

In this regard, the Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Mervin Maldonado, delivered, on behalf of the head of state, this park, which includes judo areas, extreme sports, climbing walls, swimming pool, courts and gym.
