Palestine thanks Venezuela for its support and position in the face of Israel's genocide

The Palestinian ambassador to Venezuela, Fadi Alzaben, delivered a letter addressed to the National Assembly (AN), to greet and thank the strong position of the Bolivarian government, which has mobilized the conscience of humanity, on the need to stop the Israeli occupying power and guarantee the full rights of the Palestinian people.

The letter was delivered to the president of the AN, Jorge Rodríguez, during the great mobilization in Caracas, for the celebration two months after the victory of President Nicolás Maduro over fascism.

“The Venezuelan people honor the just cause by the determination of a free people like Palestine,” he said.

He also assured that he accompanies Venezuela with its people, in the dream of a more just world, where peace, equality and justice prosper, “as our ancestors dreamed.”

“We hope that the hope of these great noble peoples, Venezuela and Palestine, will continue to shine like the light of dawn, under the same spirit of humanity and unconditional support,” he added.

Alzaben criticized that Palestine continues to suffer atrocities in the face of the complicit silence of the international community. “The attacks have claimed the lives of more than 41,000 Palestinians, mostly children and women,” he said.

There are currently more than two million forcibly displaced persons and the destruction of infrastructure in Gaza is almost complete.

“We have requested, once again, the support of the international community; unfortunately there is complicit silence on the part of the community,” he denounced.
