Violent acts, supported by the extreme right this Monday, July 29, left 23 military personnel and 25 police officers injured, Defense Minister G/J Vladmir Padrino López reported.

Through a statement read this Tuesday, he also reported the death of an official of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), stationed in the state of Aragua, who received a gunshot wound to the neck.

“The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) reiterates its irreducible commitment to peace. However, we will act decisively in perfect civic-military-police union to preserve internal order throughout the national territory within the framework of the Constitution, laws and respect for human rights,” he stressed.

In the same way, he stressed that for these acts of violence, criminals and mercenaries trained abroad have been used for this purpose.

He also called on the People not to fall into provocations or manipulations that promote violence and intolerance.
