Padrino López commemorates 210th anniversary of the Battle of La Victoria and Youth Day (+press release)

This Monday, February 12, the Minister of People's Power for Defense, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, extended a few words in a statement to commemorate the 210th anniversary of the Battle of Victory and Youth Day.

“More than two centuries after this admirable act of arms, blessed by the zeal of an inexperienced revolutionary youth, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) is honored to exalt its transcendental contribution to the emancipatory feat, because in the present time, when the Fatherland is subject to new and criminal imperialist aggressions, the sons and daughters of Bolívar, who have consolidated the entire combative and heroic tradition of the great independence warriors, continue to exalt the glories of the past, gallantly assuming a role a protagonist in the Integral Defense of the Nation,” Padrino López said in the statement.

In addition, he reiterated the support and support of the FANB to “military and non-military young people who are determined to continue defending, with dignity and courage, the freedom, sovereignty and independence of this beloved land. We also reaffirm our absolute support for all public policies the Bolivarian Revolution has directed at youth.”
