The Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball (MLB) added Venezuelan Gleyber Torres to the 10-day disabled list after suffering a strain in his left oblique muscle.

Torres will be replaced by Justyn-Henry Malloy, who was called from Toledo (Triple A), to fill the vacancy, as reported by the club through its social networks.

He also noted that rest will only be a precaution, after knowing the results of the tests performed on him.

The man from Caracas signed a contract as a free agent at the end of December 2024, following his departure from the New York Yankees.
