The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, stressed that the procedure for reviewing the authorizations was fully complied with, in accordance with paragraph C of point 4, contemplated in the Barbados Agreement, signed between the Bolivarian Government and members of the extremist opposition sector.

Through his account on the social network X, he indicated paying attention to the cited letter C of point 4, of the "Partial Agreement on the Promotion of Political Rights and Electoral Rights for All”.

In the message, Rodríguez annexed that part of the Barbados Agreement, “here is the procedure for reviewing qualifications, which was fully complied with. Pay attention to paragraph c) of point 4. Res judicata”.

Said verbatim, it establishes that the parties undertake to “comply within the constitutional framework with the decision of the Supreme Court of Justice that emanates from this appeal”.

Likewise, the letter d, contemplates “rejecting any form of violence in the political exercise, as well as any type of action that threatens the sovereignty, peace and territorial integrity of Venezuela”.
