Opponent Javier Bertucci registered his presidential candidacy with the CNE

The evangelical pastor and opposition activist, Javier Bertucci, formalized before the National Electoral Council (CNE) his candidacy for the presidential elections on July 28.

With the support of the opposition party Hope for Change, Bertucci enshrined the precautions required in our current legislation for this purpose.

In his words to his followers and rectors of the CNE, he called for the construction of a country where peace and reconciliation reign.

“You can't just want to change the captain of a ship to sink it. That is the irrational action that I have seen in some leaders with an extremist mentality who will never be able to lead the country to a bloodbath,” he said.

The candidate also reiterated his confidence in the National Electoral Council and in the transparency of the voting process.
