“Operation Grand Chief Guaicaipura” reached two prisons in Lara

The Minister of Popular Power for the Penitentiary Service, Julio García Zerpa, reported that “Operation Gran Cacique Guaicaipura” was carried out with “success” in the Fénix Lara Penitentiary Community and the Sergeant David Viloria Penitentiary Center.
“This device, carried out in both prisons, was carried out with total order, discipline and security, under strict respect for the human rights to which persons deprived of their liberty are entitled,” said García Zerpa.
He also indicated that this operation “has as its purpose the good development of these spaces to ensure new women and new men, whose social reintegration makes them useful human beings for the social and economic progress of Venezuela,” said Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
