The CEO of the state company Petrleos Mexicanos (PEMEX), Octavio Romero, and the President of PDVSA, Rafael Tellechea Ruiz, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the objective of promoting cooperation and the exchange of technical, regulatory knowledge, information, experiences and best practices in the hydrocarbon value chain.
This was also confirmed by the president of PDVSA, through his account on the social network X, where he specified that this agreement, in addition to the exchange of technical knowledge on a wide range of issues, seeks to deepen “our relationship and complementarity”.

It became known that this Memorandum was reached after several meetings between the two delegations, in which investment opportunities in oil and natural gas between the two nations had been discussed, as well as the route to define projects, infrastructure and exploratory opportunities.
