The board of directors of Zamora FC of the Venezuelan First Division announced José María Morr as its new technical director.
“Zamora FC is proud to announce the arrival of Professor José María Morr, a strategist with great experience and a winning vision,” the Llanero club published through its social networks.
He also explained that Morr will take over the reins of the team from the seventh day of the 2025 Apertura Tournament.
Morr joins the team to replace Adolfo Monsalve, whose departure was announced a few days ago, after he failed to achieve the expected objectives in the first few days of the Apertura.
The last team led by the strategist in the top flight of Venezuelan football was Metropolitanos FC, who was in charge of him for five years in which he managed to participate in four international cups between Libertadores and Sudamericana, runner-up in the Venezuela Cup 2024, the qualification for the 2025 South American Cup, as well as the absolute title of the FUTVE League in the 202 season 3.
