The Brígido Iriarte National Stadium, located in the parish of El Paraíso, is once again the home of the Caracas Football Club, starting with the Closing Tournament of the Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League).

Rostin González, president of the Caracas Football Club; Mervin Maldonado, Minister of Popular Power for Youth and Sports, and Ninoska Clocier, president of the National Sports Institute, were responsible for formalizing this historic return of Rojo to his old home.

“The good son always comes home. It is a joy for everyone who lives in Caracas that their team returns home and that it does so in the best conditions,” said Minister Maldonado.

He also assured that the agreement they have reached with the Caracas Football Club fills us with greater commitment to be able to provide the exceptional conditions of Brígido Iriarte that could be seen in the Olympic Qualifying.

Maldonado highlighted that the layout was completely renovated with a state-of-the-art irrigation and drainage system, together with a lighting system that he considered the best in the country.

For his part, González thanked the Bolivarian Government for supporting and making possible the return of the Red group to their home. “This is a step forward. I am very happy to be able to return to the Brigid, which is our cradle, it is a value that we carry in our hearts and that will also lead us to live good times,” he said.

“We arrived at the place where we have nine stars and those that we are going to start adding. We're home again,” González, reported the press at the institution in Avila.

In addition, he announced that they are studying the possibility of setting up a transportation line to provide comfort to fans who attend the stadium, as well as the provision of private parking.
