Ocumare de la Costa Mayor's Office and CORPOELEC place lamps in hamlets on the Aragüeña coast

With the objective of ensuring a better quality of life and strengthening basic services on the Aragüan coast, an important comprehensive day of care was held for the town of Cumboto, in the Ocumare municipality of the Gold Coast.

The joint action, promoted by Mayor Wilmer Leal together with the Government of the state of Aragua and the electric company CORPOELEC, allowed the delivery and installation of luminaires in various sectors of the community, guaranteeing safer and more illuminated spaces for the well-being of all families in the area.

This intervention was deployed under the 1x10 Good Governance scheme, a mechanism that allows people's requests for essential services to be addressed directly and prioritized. Simultaneously with the public lighting work, the municipal crews carried out an environmental approach that included days of deep cleaning and solid waste collection in streets and common areas.

According to a press release, with this comprehensive plan, the administration of Mayor Wilmer Leal reaffirms its commitment to continue working in conjunction with the Regional Executive and State institutions to consolidate development, health and safety in each of the parishes of the municipality.
