The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of
Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that the extreme right does not want the People and intends to ask for the vote for the
presidential elections on July 28, after they requested and promoted
multiple aggressions against the country together with the government of the United States (USA).
“The right wing has its candidate, imperialism has its
candidate, those who asked for sanctions have their candidate, those who asked for
blockades have their candidate, those who called for
foreign army invasions of their own land have their candidate; he is a candidate, they have one, but no one knows him
, he doesn't exist,” said Cabello from the Antonio Díaz municipality of Nueva Esparta.
During a massive mobilization in support of President Nicolás Maduro and in rejection of imperial attacks, he recalled that this political sector has dedicated all its
energies to calling for sanctions and blockades. “These people are bad, they are irresponsible,
very cowardly and very thieves (...) They don't want the people, they hate the people and they
hypocritically ask the people to vote.”
