On Friday night, the Venezuelan extreme right announced that its “unitary” candidate will be former diplomat Edmundo González Urrutia, after a long meeting in which opponents María Corina Machado and Manuel Rosales agreed with this decision.

This action approved by La Sayo (María Corina) and the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, had warned about it in his Con El Mazo Dando program No. 470 on March 27.

It was also warned that this would be one of Machado's actions to close the road to Rosales, who effectively also declined in support of the candidacy of Edmundo González Urrutia.

Although the story does not end there, because according to information from Cabello, González Urrutia was registered as a cover “by Rosales himself, surrounded by (Henry) Ramos Allup and with (Henrique) Capriles (...) I take the stage that a better story is coming than the brollo of the Morillos with the Puma”.
