The National Electoral Council (CNE) is responsible for organizing the elections this Sunday, July 28 and is therefore solely responsible for providing the official results of the vote, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

“Go out and vote and let's wait with peace and quiet for the official results that will emanate from the only one who can give them (the CNE). In no country are the results given by exit polls or polls given by the person in charge of organizing the electoral process,” said the Head of State after exercising his right to vote.

In addition, from the Simón Rodríguez national ecological school, in Fort Tiuna in Caracas, he stressed that the Bolivarian Revolution is the only guarantee of peace and stability for Venezuela.

“That no one intends to tarnish this day of peace, of electoral holidays, of participation. That no one intends to stain it from Venezuela or from outside. Respect for the people, respect for the electoral referee,” he said.

On the other hand, he reiterated the call for national dialogue and his commitment to “respect and defend” the results issued by the CNE after the end of the voting day.
