Nicolás Maduro is the voters' favorite heading to the 28J elections, according to Parametric

This Sunday, a new poll came to light that places the country's candidate, Nicolás Maduro, as the favorite to win the presidential elections on July 28, which coincides with what is evident in the massive street mobilizations in support of the Venezuelan president.

According to the most recent survey by the Latin American pollster Parametric, the current president has 43% support, while the candidate of sanctions and North American imperialism, Edmundo González Urrutia, is behind with 32%, more than 10 points of difference.

Meanwhile, José Brito is in third place with an intention to vote of 8.2%, followed by Antonio Ecarri with 2.1%, Javier Bertucci with 1.75%, Claudio Fermín with 1.5%, Daniel Ceballos with 1.2%, Benjamín Rausseo with 1.1% and Luis Eduardo Martínez with 0.75%.

The opinion study was conducted in Caracas, Miranda, Falcón, Zulia, Mérida, Táchira, Portuguesa, Barinas, Guárico, Anzoátegui, Nueva Esparta, Sucre, Monagas and Bolivar.

Regarding the intention to vote in the upcoming elections, 80.3% of the respondents stated that they will definitely participate; 13.25% answered that maybe they will vote; 3.80% said that they might not vote; 1.65% will definitely not go to vote, while 1.0% do not know, have no opinion.

The Parametric study was conducted from May 07 to 15, and included a sample of 2,000 house-to-house interviews nationwide, with a sampling error of 2.19% and a confidence level of 95%.
