Nicolás Maduro: GPPSB candidates must seek the People and articulate with the People's Power

Nicolás Maduro, president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), during a meeting with the candidates of the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar (GPPSB), assured that the Bolivarian Revolution is going through a historic period of strength, having a Popular Power constituted and organized to defend democracy and protect the people from the fascist extreme right and imperialism.

“Today we have a consolidated Popular Power, we are in the best conditions of organized grassroots power that we have never had in decades of the Bolivarian Revolution, today we have a Great Patriotic Pole activated, mobilized, strong, happy, united, strengthened through alliances, while social forces and popular movements are activated and mobilized,” he said.

He also recommended the candidates nominated by the GPPSB for the elections on May 25. “From now on, they have the great task of articulating themselves with grassroots popular power. Go find the Town to plan this great new phase 2026-2030,” he instructed.
