Nicolás Maduro continues to lead voting intention with more than 55%, according to a Hinterlaces survey

The polling company Hinterlaces, in the latest published data, specifies that 55.6% of Venezuelans expressed their intention to vote for the re-election of the current president of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in research carried out over the month of June, which included 1,200 interviews throughout the country, with a margin of error of 3%.

In his account on the social network X, he points out that regarding the perception of victory, 57.3% of the participants in the survey identified themselves with Chavism, while 24.4% showed an affinity with the opposition and 18.3% of the respondents chose not to answer this question.

The study also revealed that a significant 67% of citizens are determined to exercise their right to vote in the next elections.

On the other hand, 14% stated that “maybe” they would go to vote, 6% said they would not participate in the electoral process, and the other 13% abstained from giving a definitive answer.

It also points out that when asked about their partisan preference, 53.2% of the respondents identified themselves with the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).

This survey provides an updated perspective on political trends and the electoral disposition of the Venezuelan population in the face of the next elections.
