Nicolás Maduro: As long as I'm in charge, the people are president

With Nicolás Maduro in power, the people are the President, they are the ones who rule the country, said the head of state.

During a telephone contact with an organizational meeting of the structures of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela in Lara, the President stressed that, historically, while the Revolution cares for the people, the right wing asks for sanctions against the country.

In this regard, he stressed that, during the time of the Pandemic, while his government was looking for alternatives to bring medicines and supplies to the country to treat Covid-19, the right wing begged imperialism to redouble the blockade so that there would be a humanitarian crisis in the country.
