After
winning with more than 51% in the elections this Sunday, July 28, the
president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stated
that he won national independence and the dignity of the people.
“It's the triumph of
national independence and the dignity of the Venezuelan people, they couldn
't handle the sanctions, they couldn't handle the aggressions, they couldn't handle the threats, they couldn
't do it now and they will never be able to with the dignity of the people of Venezuela,”
he highlighted from the Miraflores Palace to the Venezuelans
who came to celebrate the victory.
He emphasized that “
fascism in Venezuela the land of Bolivar will not happen today or ever,
we were not born on the day of the cowards, the lukewarm, the timorous, we were born the day when the light of the Liberator gave birth to this
country of courage and courage”.
