New Prime Minister: Canada will never be part of the United States!

Last Monday, in his first speech as leader of the Liberal Party and the next Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney made it clear that his country will not submit to the demands of the US president, Donald Trump. “Canada will never be part of the United States (USA),” he said.
He said this in response to growing trade tensions and insinuations by US President Donald Trump about a possible annexation.
Carney demonstrated a clear nationalist stance and warned that Canada, as in hockey, will emerge victorious in any dispute, and thus reaffirmed its territoriality and sovereignty in the face of US pressure.
The arrival of Carney to the leadership of the Liberal Party marks a new direction for Canada, following the resignation of Justin Trudeau after a decade of management marked by internal criticism and rising inflation.
