Navegantes del Magallanes knew how to take advantage of the lack of control of the Liones del Caracas relievers and in the eighth inning he not only avoided the shutdown but also turned the score around to take the 8-6 victory at the Monumental Simón Bolívar stadium.

Four Leones pitchers paraded down the mound trying to stop the damage, but with only four hits, five tickets and two wild pitches, those led by Eduardo Pérez turned the game around 6-0 and put it 8-6 in their favor.

The haired ones failed to react and at the end of the ninth episode Jesús Tinoco added two strikeouts, including one to Eugenio Suárez, to score his first save of the season.

This Friday, both eleven will meet again in the last match of the Eternal Rivals in the regular season, but at the José Bernardo Pérez Stadium in Valencia.

For the people of Caracas, the left-handed Yohander Méndez will open, while Cristofer O Gando will do the same for the Magallaneros.
