The National Tourism University (UNATUR) graduated 103 professionals from the IV Promotion of Graduates in Tourism Management and Higher University Technicians of the Hotel Escuela Gran Caracas nucleus.

The event, which took place at the headquarters of the Venezuelan Hydrocarbons University (UVH), was attended by the Minister of Tourism, Daniella Cabello, who urged the graduates to assume management in accordance with sustainability criteria.

“Let's be at the forefront of how we should manage our tourist destinations, how we can prepare them to make them increasingly sustainable, to provide regenerative and quality tourism,” said the official in statements collected by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN).

The head of Tourism also addressed the role of artificial intelligence in the sector. “It is up to us to use this intelligence to analyze data, promote our beauty with precision, optimize destination management and empower local communities with their own digital platforms,” said the minister.

On the other hand, the rector of Unatur, Azucena Jaspe, highlighted the joint graduation of three generations and reiterated her commitment to inclusion.
