National Risk System rescued the five hikers lost in the Waraira Repano

Rescuers from the National Risk System safely located five young people who had been lost last Tuesday in the Waraira Repano, said the Deputy Minister for Risk Management and Civil Protection, M/G Carlos Pérez Am.

Through a series of messages published on his X account, Pérez Amhighlighted that the young people were found in the lower part of the Quebrada Quintero sector of the capital's mountain.

He also specified that pre-hospital care, healing and hydration were carried out for the disoriented, one of them presented excoriations and bruises. “We proceed with the strict protocol to transfer them to a health care center,” he added.
