National Risk Management System deployed to address overflow of the Manzanares River

The National Government activated Civil Protection and Fire Department reinforcements to support emergency logistics efforts in the face of the overflow of the Manzanares River in the municipality of Montes, Edo Sucre.
This was reported by the Sectorial Vice President for Public Security and Peace, A/J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, who explained, through the social network X, that the authorities are carrying out medical care efforts, medicines, food, drinking water, equipment and staff reinforcements from the National Risk Management System for damage analysis and evaluation.
He also explained that the overflow of the river is the result of the rains caused by the passage of Hurricane Beryl through the country's coastal area.
