The National Risk Management System remains deployed in the San Cristóbal municipality of the state of Táchira, taking into account the effects of rainfall, which have occurred since yesterday.

This was reported by the Deputy Minister for Risk Management and Civil Protection, Carlos Pérez Am, through a post on his social networks.

Pérez Amexplained that the teams are carrying out Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (EDAN), due to the overflow of the Torbes River, which has generated temporary flooding in four houses due to water entering and leaving and the partial collapse of the perimeter fence of another.

He also indicated that landslides with rocky material have been reported on the road. “For the time being, no injured people have been reported.”
